The same four things, whether you call from Miami or walk into our office. Each one is free.
We compare every Marketplace plan sold in Miami-Dade County, explain the deductible and the network in plain words, and submit the application with you on the phone.
Most people who enroll get a tax credit that lowers the monthly price. We estimate your income carefully, so you get what you qualify for and owe nothing back at tax time.
Moved to Miami, had a baby, got married, lost coverage from a job? Those open a special enrollment window, and we handle the change for you.
ID cards, a bill you do not understand, a doctor who says you are not covered, the renewal every fall. You call the same advisor, any month of the year.
In Florida, Marketplace plans are sold through HealthCare.gov. We are certified with the Marketplace and enroll you through it.
Open Enrollment runs from November 1 to January 15. Enroll by December 15 and your coverage starts January 1. Outside those dates you need a qualifying event, and we check whether you have one.
Plans and prices are set by county. The plans you can buy in Miami are the ones filed for Miami-Dade County, and they are not the same as the next county over, which is why a quote starts with your ZIP code.
Doctor Insurance One is licensed in Florida and in 20 other states, so a family that moves away from Miami keeps its advisor.
See plans in MiamiWe serve families in Miami and nearby, including Hialeah, Doral, Kendall, Westchester, Sweetwater and Fontainebleau. Everything is done by phone, WhatsApp or the app, in the language you prefer, so where exactly you live changes nothing about the help you get.
It depends on your income, your household and the plan you pick, because the tax credit is calculated for you. Many families in Miami-Dade County pay well under what the plan lists, and some pay nothing a month. You can see the plans for your ZIP code with your real price before you give anyone your name or phone number.
No. The whole enrollment is done by phone, and you sign on your phone. You can also use WhatsApp or the app. If you are near our Miami office you are welcome to come in, but nobody has to.
Your dates of birth, Social Security numbers or immigration documents for the people who will be on the plan, an estimate of this year's household income, and your address in Miami. If you are missing something we tell you, and we wait.
Usually yes. A move to a new county or state is a qualifying event that opens a 60-day window to enroll or change plans, even outside Open Enrollment. Call us with the date you moved and we check it.
Yes. Every advisor speaks Spanish and English, the application is explained in the language you choose, and so is every call after. Families in Miami switch between the two all the time.
One call is usually enough to know what you qualify for. There is nothing to pay and nothing to sign until you have chosen.
